How to Make Guests Feel Included in Your Wedding Live Stream

Attending a wedding is often a special honor for your loved ones, but what happens when circumstances prevent them from being able to attend? Whether it’s a pandemic or a delayed flight, there is always going to be someone who can’t make it to your wedding.

Live streaming your wedding is a great way to ensure that everyone can be a part of your big day, but how do you make those virtual wedding guests feel included? We have a couple of ideas!

Send Them Something Special

Your in-person guests will probably be honored with a wedding favor. Don’t forget about at-home guests! Mail them a wedding favor or even a gift card to a food delivery service so they can have a lovely “catered” meal.

Offer Them a Menu

On the other hand, rather than encouraging at-home guests to order-in, give them the option of dining on the same food you’ll be enjoying at your wedding. Do this by giving them some insight into your wedding catering menu and consider including a recipe so they can make it themselves.

Give Them a Shout Out

Don’t let your virtual wedding guests be an after thought! Go up to the camera after your ceremony and address them directly. If you have a smaller at-home guest list, you can even shout out each person by name! Let them know how much it means to you that they took time out of their day to join you.

Have a Special Presentation

Incorporate something special just for your at-home guests during your wedding live stream. This can be as simple as a slideshow with music or as intricate as bringing in a live mixologist to teach guests how to create a signature cocktail at home.
