Product-Specific Terms: Photo Booth Rentals

These Supplemental Terms apply only to The Booth by LoveStream’s photo booth rental services. They form part of and are incorporated into the general Terms of Service.

3.0 (Photo Booth): The Booth by LoveStream:

3.1    LoveStream Obligations. LoveStream shall provide the following services:

  • Access to a third-party photo booth platform, provided the Client acknowledges that we are not provider of such services, have no liability for its technical operation and the Client will be subject to all terms and conditions of such supplier;

  • Set up of Client’s personal event gallery;

  • Creation of Client’s personal custom background and overlay (with one round of edits; additional edits available as an add-on service);

  • Answer tech related questions via email or live chat on the LoveStream site. Answer time is up to 2 business days and is only available during LoveStream business hours (9a-5p ET);

  • Exclusive use of the rental equipment for the rental term in exchange for the package fee.

3.2    Client Obligations. The Client’s obligations shall be to:

  • Confirm event date and estimated final guest count at time of purchase;

  • Unpack rented equipment and alert LoveStream team at least 24 hours in advance of any issues so they have time to troubleshoot;

  • Use the rented equipment in a careful manner and comply with all setup and breakdown instructions;

  • Take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to the rented equipment, including, without limitation, the effects of adverse weather;

  • Understand that anyone can go to the third-party gallery if they choose not to password protect;

  • Confirm the setup areas is level, paved and within 10-feet of a 120 volt electric outfit;

  • Confirm there is sufficient lighting in the setup area;

3.3    Photo Booth Attendant. If Client chooses a package with a photo booth attendant, these additional terms shall apply.

LoveStream’s obligations include:

  • Hire an on-site attendant through a 3rd party provider to work with the LoveStream remote tech team.

Client’s obligations include:

  • Confirm start and end time as well as time zone at least 30 days before the event (or at time of purchase if purchased less than 30 days before the event);

  • Provide contact detail for the Client’s selected day-of contact who will be responsible for supplying attendant with equipment and receiving equipment post-event;

  • The photo booth will open at the Client-selected start time and close at the Client-selected end time. Additional time with the attendant, if it can be accommodated, can be added on at the end of the event for an additional fee of $100 per 15 minutes. It will be charged to the card on file within one business day of the conclusion of the event.

3.4    Printed Photos. The Booth by LoveStream packages include unlimited digital photos. If Client chooses a package with a printed images, these additional terms shall apply. 

LoveStream’s obligations include:

  • Provide rental of a printer;

  • Provide enough ink and paper for the estimated guest count for 3 hours of the event (or additional time – add-on)

Client’s obligations include:

  • Provide accurate estimated guest count;

  • Provide WiFi at venue to connect kiosk to printer.

3.5    Post-Event. LoveStream’s obligations end once the below are delivered to the Client. Client can expect delivery of below items within 3 business days of the conclusion of their event:

  • Downloadable gallery of all images

  • Downloadable stats of shares with associated contact details

  • Any stats related to additional data gathered (if applicable)

However, the final product will not be delivered until the rental equipment is mailed back.

The gallery will be hosted by LoveStream for up to 30 days post-event. At that point, it may be permanently deleted. Client is responsible for downloading their own files.

3.6 Intellectual Property Rights Release Clause. By providing logos, colors, trademarks, or any other branding materials for the design of the photo overlay, the client hereby acknowledges that they possess the full rights to utilize said materials. Our company disclaims any legal repercussions arising from the client's use of provided intellectual property in the custom photo design.

7.0 (PHOTO BOOTH): REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS. 

At LoveStream, we are committed to providing a reliable and memorable rental experience. This Refund & Cancellation clause outlines the conditions under which refunds, credits, and cancellations are permitted. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms.

  • All money paid is non-refundable except as explicitly outlined in the conditions below:

  • NON-DELIVERY BY EVENT START TIME: If your booth is not delivered by the scheduled event start time, and neither the original nor any backup unit is usable:

    • You are eligible for up to a 100% refund of your rental fee.

    • All equipment must be returned and pass inspection.

    • Partial credit or refund may be provided based on delivery timing and usage.

  • EQUIPMENT DELIVERED BUT NOT USED: If equipment is delivered on time but not set up or used, no refund or credit will be issued.

  • EQUIPMENT ISSUES BEFORE EVENT:

    • Issues must be reported by 8:00 p.m. ET on the day of equipment delivery.

    • If reported within this timeframe and a working replacement is provided, no refund will be issued.

    • If reported within this timeframe and a working replacement is not provided, only a partial refund for that piece will be issued.

    • If not reported in time, compensation is not guaranteed and, if considered, will only be issued as a credit (not a refund) toward a future rental.

  • EQUIPMENT ISSUES DURING EVENT:

    • Changing printer settings or tampering with default configurations without prior approval from our support team will make you ineligible for a refund related to printing issues.

    • You must call or text our support team during your event and be available for live troubleshooting. If you do not contact us and allow us to assist in real time, no refund will be issued.

    • If we resolve the issue, no refund will be issued.

    • In the rare instance we cannot resolve the issue:

      • A partial refund will be issued for the affected component (e.g., $50 refund for standard printer rental).

      • Unused, unopened printer consumables (e.g., full bag or roll of paper) may be eligible for a refund only in the event of verified equipment malfunction, subject to inspection. If applicable, they can instead be returned and used by us to reprint your event photos.

  • REFUND PROCESSING:

    • All refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of the original event date via the Refund Request Form.

    • Requests submitted after this 15-day window will not be considered.

    • Refunds will only be processed upon return and inspection of all equipment, and once the client has signed a Refund Agreement outlining the approved refund amount, method, and any applicable deductions.

    • Deductions will be made for any damage, missing items, or late returns.

    • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only.

    • Please allow 7–10 business days for refund processing on our end, plus additional time depending on your bank.

  • NON-REFUNDABLE FEES:

    • The following charges are never refundable:

      • All shipping costs (including outbound and return shipping);

      • A $35 administrative processing fee;

      • Deductions for damage, missing items, or late returns.

      • Incorrect Address: The delivery address entered at booking must be accurate. Any non-deliveries, delays, or issues resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address are non-refundable.

  • PARTIAL PAYMENTS:

    • Partial payment arrangements may be offered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in writing.

    • All balances must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the scheduled event.

    • All payments made under a partial payment plan are non-refundable, except as outlined in this policy.

  • CANCELLATIONS:

    • All payments made are non-refundable, regardless of when a cancellation occurs.

      • If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, you may reschedule your rental for a future date (subject to availability) at no additional charge.

      • If you cancel within 14 days of your event, rescheduling is not guaranteed and additional fees may apply.

  • FORCE MAJEURE & WEATHER:

    • In the event of natural disasters, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your event.

    • Refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered based on timing and shipping status.

    • We recommend purchasing event insurance for additional protection.
